L’Association MZE SHINA créée en 2001 a pour vocation la production et la diffusion de spectacles musicaux, la sensibilisation au travail vocal et aux musiques traditionnelles du monde, particulièrement aux polyphonies de Géorgie, la musique de Turquie et d’Irlande par l’organisation de concerts et de stages d’apprentissage, le collectage de chants et le travail auprès des anciens, la recherche sur les rapports entre musiques de tradition et musiques actuelles.

The MZE SHINA association, created in 2001, is engaged in achieving the following objectives; the production and promotion of musical presentations, raising awareness of singing traditions from different parts of the world, particularly the Republic of Georgia (Caucusus), the music of Turkey and Ireland through the organisation of concerts and workshops, collection of songs, field recordings of venerable songmasters, research on the relationships between traditional and modern music.
